Hi! We are excited to announce that we have brought the very first pair of Tobii Eye Tracking Glasses into Australia!
We are sending you this email because you have shown interest in using eye tracking within market research. However, if you do not wish to receive this e-newsletter please unsubscribe using the link at the bottom.
Internationally, eye tracking is revolutionising the way in which user research is conducted to gain measurable insights. The new Tobii Glasses allow wearers to walk around freely, making it easier for researchers to create a real-world environment in which to capture user behaviour. This can be while they are browsing in shopping environments, trying out a new product or reading an advertisement. |

We will be holding events in Melbourne and Sydney, to demonstrate how the new Tobii Glasses and other Tobii eye trackers can be used within the field of market research.

Sep 23 - Marketing Week
Vanella Jackson, CEO, Hall & Partners, explains how tracking eye movement while viewing an ad can reveal a lot about the consumer's engagement, but the data must be analysed appropriately to be effective.
New techniques such as eyetracking are helping reveal hidden behaviour, emotions and motives and helping us all understand a bit more about the mystery and potential of a great ad. Tobii Eye Trackers are used in thousands of leading research labs worldwide in a wide variety of scientific research. Motivated by a desire to share knowledge and inspire, Tobii has taken the initiative to continuously compile and provide easy access to academic research papers in a public library. Sep 21 - Globe and Mail
A study by Britain's Institute of Promotional Marketing and the University of Westminster shows that people can get as excited spotting a bargain as they do looking at pornography. Using Tobii eye tracking equipment and Attention Tool software to measure pupil dilation and eye movement, researchers recorded the emotional responses of 50 participants to several different consumer items whose packaging featured a promotion. | Sep 9 - BizCommunity.com. LONDON, UK: Cream looks at the tools available to model shopping habits, and investigates the technology in the underrated world of brand activations.
Retail and point-of-sale activity is undergoing something of a renaissance. A recently launched eye tracking system from Tobii represents how refined research into consumer browsing behaviour has become. The science of eye tracking isn't especially new, but the technology is rapidly reaching a point where marketing departments can use it to test everything from packaging design to shelf placement or even website development. Tobii and systems like it are already finding their way into the design and marketing processes of some of the larger FMCG companies.
